Esther is the founder of Climate Curator, “curated for the naturally curious”, which publishes bi-monthly original content to explore curated themes and their relationships with climate change through science, innovation, and people lenses. She is also part of the Executive Committee at Hollaback!, a global, people-powered movement to end harassment.
Additionally, she sits on the founding board for Columbia First-Generation & Low-Income Alumni Network, which aims to create a strong, cross-generational community of alumni from low-income backgrounds and/or the first of their family to earn a college degree in the United States. Last year, she was selected as part of Unleash, an innovation lab on the Sustainable Development Goals that focused on implementable and scalable business solutions, along with 1,000 talents from over 126 countries.
Previously, she worked for over a decade in strategic and analytical roles at major financial institutions in New York and London. Her current focus is social entrepreneurship, with a speciality surrounding innovations in Sustainable Development Goals, urban sustainability, and blockchain. She received her Bachelor’s degree in communications from New York University, and master’s degree in sustainability management from Columbia University.
