Eva is the co-founder of Terra Cura Inc., a Massachusetts-based 501(c)3. Their mission is to activate regenerative networks by building place-based capacity of communities, using food systems as a driver for change. Her aspiration is to transform education and design in a way that advances the health of socio-ecological systems. Since 2015, Terra Cura’s approach has evolved into the emerging field of regenerative development that combines four disciplines: living systems thinking, permaculture, organization development and mindfulness practice.
As CEO of Terra Cura, Eva oversees strategic planning, design and project management by bringing together high-leverage professional and grassroots partnerships. There are three current projects underway. In Somerville, MA, a public urban food forest design and construction. In Hamilton, MA, a 40-acre retreat facility that addresses spirituality, agroforestry and environmental activism. And in Monrovia, Liberia (West Africa), a research and community engagement partnership with an international development firm for a 5000-acre farm conglomerate.
Eva embodies the rigor of a thinker and action-based leader at both global and local levels. She is a member of Al Gore's Climate Reality Leadership Corps, a board member of Harvard Alumni for Agriculture, and the founder and author of We:Generation Blog; 2017 Urban Agriculture Ambassador for Somerville, Massachusetts.
