Francis is a social media and communications officer for Youth Advocates Ghana and African Youth Sustainable Development Goals Summit. It is the largest pan-African platform that brings duty bearers and right holders together to reaffirm actions towards sustainable development on the continent from the perspectives of the continent’s largest population, the youth.

Francis is a global youth power leader under the #YouthPower campaign initiated by Restless Development to ensure the global goals are achieved by 2030. He is a network member for Restless Development Accountability Advocates, which aims to design and implement a national monitoring framework to hold government accountable in achieving the Sustainable Development Goal from 2015.

Francis is a promoter of the youth participation in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) monitoring process and works to improve African youth participation in shaping the development agenda on the continent. He is a youth champion on the Citizens Report Initiative by African Monitor which aims to collect citizen-generated data to monitor the implementation of the SDGs in Africa and hold the government accountable. He is a member of the Ghana Accountability Advocates Network.

Over the past three years, he has committed to utilize the power of social media to raise awareness, educate and to hold leaders accountability to the promise of the global goals. Prior to the adoption of the SDGs in 2015, he was serving as a youth champion on the pan-African Voice Africa`s Future African initiative, which mobilized Ghanaian youth through the post 2015 consultation process. It generated more than 130,000 youth voices from across Africa through a free SMS platform with five key priorities termed as #keyAsks, feeding into the African Common Position.

Francis is also a board member for Young Reporters for the Environment, an initiative that uses article writing and journalism to report on environmental issues and seeks to raise awareness on environmental challenges and how eco-friendly can be adopted by the ordinary citizen.

He is a member of the Africa Youth and Adolescent Network on Population and Development (AfriYAN Ghana), a network of youth-led and youth-focused organizations across Ghana working to advance population and development issues regarding youth and adolescents in Ghana.

Francis is a member of the National Youth Advisory Committee of the Ghana Health service which is the implementing agency of the Ministry of Health-Ghana, and an ambassador to the Bridge the Divide organization-USA.

Francis won the most outstanding active citizen award for the International Citizens Service program in Ghana by UK Aid and Challenges Worldwide. He is undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Arts in Media, Communication and Journalism at Knutford University, Ghana
