Erin Dunne is an entrepreneur and award-winning marketing and social impact strategist, with over ten years of experience developing winning strategies, campaigns and big picture ideas. Erin is the Principle of Dunne Strategies - specializing in strategic-partnerships, project management and design thinking. She is also the Co-founder and Executive Producer of the Global People's Summit and the Co-founder of the Humanity Lab Foundation.
Erin has spent her career at the intersection of social impact, innovation and storytelling. Most recently she was the founding member of the Hive, a special innovation unit within the UN Refugee Agency and one of Fast Company's 2017 most innovative brands for its work adapting technology and data in support of refugees. Erin led a team of data scientists and digital strategists to develop forward-thinking solutions to engage more Americans around the global refugee crisis. Erin developed and led award-winning digital strategies while at the UN Foundation, including the brand launch of #GivingTuesday, #RioPlusSocial, and the Social Good Summit.
Raised in a politically active family, Erin was motivated to start her career working on the Obama for America campaign and spent four years working in Washington, D.C. on Capitol Hill designing first-class digital campaigns for Members of Congress including former Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Erin graduated cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communications. Inspired by her time in post-Katrina New Orleans, Erin continues to fight for social justice and a better world for all citizens.
