Veronica is the Founder and CEO of Paideia Civica. An organization that has the mission to create capacities in civil society to tackle corruption through innovative programs that can create engagement and changes in policy.Her goal is to form anti corruption leaders.
During 2017 she was fellow of Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative, an initiative created by Barack Obama to enhance leadership and entrepreneurship in Latin America and the Caribbean. In addition, Veronica was United Nations Champion for Women Empowerment and launched the Women Against Corruption Project to create awareness of how corruption affects the empowerment of girls and women. She was delegate and speaker in the Organization of American States Summit Lima with the topic of corruption and democratic governance.
Recently, she was speaker and panelist during the G20 Summit in Argentina. She advocated to introduce the gender perspective in the anti corruption G20 working plans.
Veronica holds a bachelor degree in Economics and another in Political Science from the prestigious Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico.
